This afternoon I joined 6T in the library, there were lots of children looking for book recommendations. I started by catching up with some Shakespeare, but it’s not the version of Hamlet that Mrs Divers remembers learning at school! She’s not convinced! Next we tried The Last Whale, Mrs Divers hasn’t read this one yet, so it will be added to her ‘to be read pile!’ We finished off with a football book- Kane, I have to admit I like to chase balls but not kick them in a net! Today I took Mrs Divers to the library to meet 3S. I was so excited to join the new year 3 children. I read with Maisie, Max and Ayesha. We read about hedgehogs, Pokemon and Dr Seus. I am not so sure about hedgehogs, too many spikes! I am very confused about Pokeman characters, but I like the idea of Pokeballs. I love chasing balls!
Year 3 were very excited to see me, I’ll be back soon to read with some more children.
I was so excited after hearing year 3 read, I went back to the library to listen to 5J. I read with Harvey, Zoe and Annie. I loved the Rabbit and Bear books, they are so funny! I read about badgers and crazy things parents do. I am glad my mum doesn’t come to school with knickers on her head! Thank you 5J for sharing your stories with me!

I was so excited to meet Andy Day from CBEEBIES AND the talented Steven Layton yesterday! I'm going to start their new book tomorrow, Dino Dad!

I took Mrs Divers to join 3S in their library slot this morning. Everyone looked so festive in their Christmas jumpers! They were so excited to see me and all wanted to share what they were reading.
I read with Tihannah, Izzah and Jenson who all read beautifully! Two of the books are graphic novels which were really interesting to see! Have you read any of these books?

It was 6T’s turn to read with me today and I read with Isobel, Aleeza and Isaac. I was a bit worried about the lost leopard! Fantastic reading today, I love listening to new stories.

Today I joined 4S for their trip to the library. Everyone wanted to read with me! Amazing reading today from Farrah, Jamie and Miriam. I wonder what would happen if baby aliens took any of our teachers…..

Mr MD was doing his whole class reading session with 6J in the library this morning, so Mrs Divers took me along to listen to the next part of the story. We were listening to When The Sky Falls by Phil Earle. The children were really enjoying it! I got so excited I started to bark!

Mrs Divers took me to read with 6S this afternoon. Everyone wanted to read with me today! Lots of book talk going on in the library today and a great range of books being read. I read with Justin, Taylan and Amelia. Mrs Divers hadn’t read any of these books before so asked lots of questions! It was a bit noisy in the hall, so I was a bit distracted and had to finish my session earlier than planned. But I look forward to hearing more of 6S books soon….
