Performance Data
When children reach Year 6, they take the end of Key Stage 2 statutory tests the following subjects:
- Reading
- Maths
- Grammar, Punctuation & Spelling
Teacher assessment also takes place for writing.
They assess the children against age-related expectations as set out by the National Curriculum. For children, the SATs are used to form target grades in secondary school. They are used to measure both the school's and the individual child's attainment and progress. Attainment is the level that has been achieved, whereas progress is the difference in attainment between KS1 (Year 2) and KS2 (Year 6). You can check our school performance here:
There were no SATs tests in 2019/2020 due to Covid-19.
